Siwakoderjatel was initially developed as an innovative and environmentally friendly solution to replace most disposable plastic miswak cases.

Unlike most plastic cases, we wanted to create a product that would last 20 years. We needed a durable and environmentally friendly material. The solution was surgical steel.

Surgical steel, with added chromium and nickel, is ideal for contact with food, hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly, and biologically safe for human health.

The design of siwakoderjatel offers a much simplified version of this process—open the siwakoderjatel, use the miswak, close siwakoderjatel. The steel cap snaps onto the main body until it clicks into place. It's simple. No locks or twists. The user uses the miswak without even noticing.

An unconventional solution.

One of the main difficulties in designing a compact case for a miswak was the non-standard shape of the miswak. How to place a crooked tree branch in a straight-shaped case?

And then another paradigm shift happened. Why adjust the metal to the shape of the miswak? Let function follow form, not the other way around. Let the miswak adapt to the strict form of the metal. This is how the standard miswak size SS-2 was born - the user just has to make sure that his miswak is marked accordingly.

Every miswak eventually wears out. The time comes to trim off the used section—usually 1–2 cm from the end. Afterward, you need to strip the bark from a similar-sized length of the stick.

The oval blade shape fits the miswak perfectly, preventing accidental slips; it easily cuts through the fibers from multiple angles and effectively scrapes away the unwanted outer bark.
